Description

A somewhat sporty climb through the pastures.

From the Roc d'Orsay car park, standing in front of the gondola, take the Route des Layeux on your left and then the first street on your right (Route des Cheseaux). Heading towards the Residence, you pass under the cable car. You then quickly leave the road to take the path that runs alongside the stream, the Petite Gryonne, on a shady path, uphill, which passes through chalets and residences. Then you continue to climb, mainly in the forest, and pass near the Maison de Montagne. A few more efforts and you reach the place called les Bouquetins. You can see Bretaye which you reach after a few hundred metres.
