A ten-minute ride in the cable car takes you to the summit of the Berneuse at 2048 metres above sea level. Right next to the revolving restaurant Le Kuklos you will find the launch site for paragliding fans. Tandem flights are offered all year round for beginners. Under expert guidance and safely held, you fly downhill with a fantastic view of the peaks of the Dents du Midi, the Mont Blanc and, a little further away, Lake Geneva, which stretches twinkling between Montreux and Evian. In winter, you can try a start with skis on your feet for a paragliding flight between gliding and escape.
Practical Information
LAUNCH AND LANDING AREA The launch area is at the top of the Berneuse (2048m.), near the arrival of the cable car. The landing area is about a 15-minute walk from the start of the cable car in Leysin. ACTIVITY TIME Flight time: 15-20 minutes Estimate 2 hours for the whole activity (gondola ride, equipment, flight and return). EQUIPMENT Bring good shoes (trainers, walking shoes) Wear trousers, a jumper and a windproof jacket You can wear your glasses or sunglasses or a ski mask in winter A helmet is provided Possibility to bring your own camera, Go Pro at your own risk PRICE CONDITIONS The price does not include the gondola ride Possibility to obtain videos of the tandem flight on a USB stick (CHF 50.- extra)
