At the Bex Salt Mines, discover the different techniques of salt exploitation through more than 50 km. of underground galleries on board the miners' train. A unique experience for adventurers of all ages.

A visit to the Salt Mines is a unique adventure enjoyed by all generations. The tour begins with an audiovisual presentation. The small miners' train then takes you into the bowels of the salt mines, about 350m under the mountain. During this journey underground, you will see how salt mining has developed over the centuries. The guides and passionate craftsmen accompany you on this sensory journey. After a demonstration of the production of the Fleur des Alpes, the visit ends with a tasting of Sel des Alpes products: salted caramels, syrups, crisps, assortments of Organic Herbal Salts. A very pleasant atmosphere awaits you with a constant temperature of 18 degrees all year round. Did you know that this salty atmosphere acts as a rejuvenating cure?

VISIT AND RESERVATION - As the number of people per visit is limited, reservations are required. - Audio guides are available in French, German, Italian and English (while stocks last) - Visit booklets are available in French, German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Dutch. - Duration of the visit: approximately two hours - Special tours for groups of 20 or more can be arranged. RECOMMENDATIONS - We recommend sports shoes and warm clothing for the tour. - The indoor temperature is 18°C at any time of the year. The rooms and galleries are well lit and naturally ventilated. - Animals are not allowed. - During the visit, people prone to claustrophobia may be uncomfortable. ACCESSIBILITY - For people with reduced mobility, please indicate this when booking. - Some of the galleries and the mine train are accessible to wheelchair users. RESTAURATION - Bar and souvenir shop at the entrance to the salt mine - Picnic area with tables and benches (shelter for 30 people)
