Ephemeral work of art by SAYPE

Description

Saype is back in Villars in 2024 with an ephemeral work whose theme is still being kept secret.

If you haven't heard of Saype yet, here's some information about the artist: In each of his works, Saype captures the fragility of our societies and the challenges we are all called upon to meet, using the monumental frescoes he creates on grass, earth, sand and snow around the world. His frescoes, which are destined to fade away, are designed to have an impact on people's attitudes, while respecting nature. They are painted using an eco-responsible paint made up essentially of chalk and charcoal. Check out her Instagram page for a snapshot of her visits to Villars in 2023 and 2022: @Saype_artiste. See you at the beginning of July in Villars to discover this work of art.

Practical Information

- Free entrance PERIOD - The works are visible for between 2 and 4 weeks (until around the end of July), depending on the weather and grass growth.
