Bread oven of Rougemont

Every Wednesday, during the summer vacations, the ladies of the bread oven and Ti-Tell invite you to taste the famous pies of Rougemont! Made by hand and baked on a wood fire, these sweet and savory cakes are the rendezvous of the summer.
The baker of the village put the oven back in operation for the 900th anniversary of the Commune. The bread oven of Rougemont, dating from the 18th century, is in use during the school vacations! A team of passionate people prepares on order specialities cooked in the bread oven and sold on Wednesday noon. On the menu, you will find bread from the oven as well as many sweet and savory pies made on reservation: - Bread from the oven - Sweet cakes: Apples, Pears, Apricots, Peaches, Prunes, Cream and Cooked Wine - Savoury cakes: Pizza, Cheese, Quiche and Speciality of the day (information from Pays-d'Enhaut Régio Order your gourmet cakes until Tuesday evening, 5pm, from Pays-d'Enhaut Région at +41 (0) 26 924 25 25! You can then pick them up between noon and 1pm, directly at the Cure de Rougemont.n)
