The Bex & Arts Triennial "Vivement demain !"

Description

The 15th triennial of outdoor contemporary art closed its doors on 24 September 2023 after welcoming more than 12,000 visitors during its 4.5-month run. The next edition will take place in 2026.

The Bex & Arts Triennial of Contemporary Sculpture has been running since 1981 and has gained national and international renown. Held every three years, the exhibition has been held since 1987 in Bex's Parc de Szilassy, a 19th-century English landscape garden. Particular care is taken to protect the site's biodiversity, leaving certain areas untouched and using appropriate signage to guide visitors. In this way, a harmonious cohabitation between humans, art and nature has been created and has lasted for almost forty years. As an artistic window on current affairs, the Bex & Arts Triennial aims to provide contemporary artists with food for thought and a place to work on societal issues.
