Want to get a behind-the-scenes look at a local winery? We’ve tested the cave tour at Domaine Dillet in Yvorne for you. It’s a simple and friendly activity, perfect for understanding vineyard work and local know-how.
Nestled among the vines with the Dents du Midi as a backdrop, Domaine Dillet is a family benchmark. Managed for six generations by the Minod family, it seamlessly blends tradition and modernity with great naturalness.
The visit begins in the cellar, guided by the producer himself. We discover the estate, its history, and the various stages of wine production. Our host's explanations are delivered through a narrative that is accessible and engaging for everyone.

After the tour, it's time for tasting. In a relaxed atmosphere, we sample four wines from the estate, accompanied by a few appetizers.
Chasselas, Pinot Noir, rosé, or even fruitier specialties: the tasting offers a chance to discover the different styles of wine produced on-site. Each glass is presented with captivating explanations, making the moment enjoyable and easy to follow.

If the weather cooperates, the tasting leaves the cozy wine library to take place either in the estate's garden—a true balcony overlooking the vineyards—or in the shade of a trellis, facing the Dents du Midi. An idyllic setting that sprinkles this tasting with charm and gentleness.
This cellar tour is above all a wonderful opportunity to meet passionate local producers and discover a wine estate in a simple, authentic atmosphere. It is an ideal outing to explore the wine trails and appreciate the richness of the region's wines.
