Recent snowfall and favourable temperatures allow for an early partial opening of several ski areas in the Alpes Vaudoises starting this weekend.

Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets

The Villars sector will open partially on 29 and 30 November.

The following lifts will be in operation:

• Villars–Bretaye train (one train per hour)
• Roc d’Orsay gondola
• Lac Noir – Chaux Ronde chairlift
• Lac Noir ski lift
• Bretaye–Orsay ski lift
• Bretaye magic carpet

In addition, the Grand Chamossaire chairlift and the Lac de Bretaye ski lift are currently being prepared and are expected to open on 29 November. Final information is updated on the lift company’s website: www.tvgd.ch

The full opening of the Villars, Gryon and Les Diablerets sectors is planned from 5 December, depending on snow conditions.

Special rates in Villars

The following preferential rates apply for 29 and 30 November:

Adults, youth, seniors (born 1948–2009)

• From 12:00: CHF 41.–
• 1 day: CHF 57.–
• 2 days: CHF 107.–

Children (born 2010–2019)

• From 12:00: CHF 33.–
• 1 day: CHF 39.–
• 2 days: CHF 72.–

Passes can be purchased online, at the Roc d’Orsay ticket office (08:15–16:15), and at the Villars station ticket office (08:30–16:30).

Leysin–Les Mosses–La Lécherette

The Leysin and Les Mosses areas will open partially on 29 and 30 November.

• The Leysin area will open from 8:30 AM. Continuous opening of the Leysin area is planned from 6 December.
• The Les Mosses area will open the beginner zone for this weekend, starting at 8:45 AM.
