Fancy discovering the world of Argentine tango or honing your skills? Every other Saturday, Aigle hosts events centred around dance, music and a friendly atmosphere.
The afternoon begins from 4.30 pm to 6 pm with a choice of several activities suitable for all levels. Participants can take part in a themed workshop focusing on tango or traditional Argentine dances, to refine their technique and discover new aspects of these dances. An introduction to tango is also available for beginners wishing to take their first steps and learn the basics of this iconic dance.
From 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, it’s time for open dancing. This is an opportunity to dance, put what you’ve learnt in the afternoon into practice and enjoy a pleasant time with the other participants. The instructors remain on hand throughout the session to support the dancers, offer advice and guide them as they practise.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, these sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to discover or rediscover Argentine tango in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, right in the heart of Aigle.
