A poetic encounter between two eras, two voices and one city.
As part of the ‘Two Poets, One City’ evening, local poetry will take centre stage through an encounter between two authors separated by nearly a century, yet united by their attachment to the region and its landscapes.
The audience will be invited to discover the world of Alphonse Mex, a poet renowned for his works inspired by the landscapes of the Chablais, followed by that of Thierry Droz, whose eco-poetry explores the deep connections between humankind, nature and today’s major environmental challenges.
Featuring presentations, readings and musical interludes, this evening will offer an evocative immersion into two unique poetic worlds. A musical reading by Magali Dubois will also enrich the event, creating a moment where words and music engage in an emotional dialogue.
An invitation to rediscover local poetry and celebrate the cultural richness of our region.
