The Nativity Scenes of the Cloître Aigle

From 21 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, let yourself be swept away by the magic of Christmas in the heart of Aigle’s historic Cloître district. Around forty nativity scenes and collections of Provençal santons await you as you stroll at your leisure through the narrow streets, past winegrowers’ shop windows and festive decorations. A charming stroll to enjoy with the whole family, for young and old alike.

Make the most of the Advent weekends to pop into the open cellars, meet the local winegrowers and artisans, and discover their products. It’s the perfect opportunity to taste Aigle’s wines and find some lovely gift ideas for the festive season. To round off your visit, stop off at the Cloître Church or Aigle Castle.

Several concerts will add to the festive atmosphere during this period:

• Sunday 29 November: ‘Cantate des XIV générations’, at the Cloître Church
• Sunday 6 December: Organ concert and Christmas carols, at the Cloître Church
• Sunday 13 December: Ensemble Beriska, at the Cloître Church
• Sunday 20 December: Concert by the Aigle Gospel Workshop, at the Cloître Church
• Sunday 10 January: ‘La femme au chapeau’, a concert-show for families, at Aigle Castle

Also worth noting: on Saturday 12 December, celebrate World Chasselas Day with a tasting of wines from Aigle.
