The route from Yvorne passes through three vineyards, resin-scented pine forests and picturesque hamlets.
The Via Francigena is a cultural, heritage and spiritual pilgrimage. It is the historical route that links Canterbury to Rome. The Via Francigena allows you to discover sumptuous landscapes by walking or cycling over 3,000 km, including 10 stages through Switzerland. This section of the Via Francigena takes you back in time through the old town of Aigle with its original Jerusalem street and castle. Smell the pine trees on the charming "Petite Provence" path before descending to the village of Ollon. Return by train with the Aigle-Ollon-Monthey-Champéry (AOMC) train or by bus (144) from Ollon.
