This 5km hike takes you from Château-d'Œx to Rossinière through the upper reaches of our region!

The starting point for your walk is Point I in Château-d'Œx. Easy to reach by train on the MOB line or by bus on the TPC line, the station is located in the centre of the village close to Point I in Château-d'Œx. Drive out of the village past the Cinéma Eden, and take the opportunity to look at the programme to choose the film you want to see on your return. When you arrive at Les Chenolettes, admire the beehives and all the work our little friends do to make the famous Pays-d'Enhaut honey, made exclusively from natural flora. Your next stop? Le Pâquier au Lièvre. Contemplate the view of the mountains of our region while soaking up the sun amidst the wild flora and fauna! Finally, at the top of Rossinière, you can catch a glimpse of the Lac du Vernex and the century-old chalets of this beautiful village! Finally, don't miss the Grand Chalet, located near Rossinière station! This historic building belongs to the family of the famous painter Balthus. The painter himself lived here during the last years of his life.
