Description

Accessible to all, this route takes you along the river "La Grande-Eau" and allows you to enjoy the freshness of the forest.

This walk starts at the place called "Les Farettes". Follow the road upstream, pass by the Farettes waterworks, then enter the forest. As you go along, let yourself be overwhelmed by the tranquillity of the place. The freshness of the forest and the serenity emanating from the flow of the Grande-Eau will accompany you throughout the walk. After about 1 kilometre, there is a junction where you can either continue the walk by going straight on, or go straight up on the right. In the first case, two equipped picnic areas and places directly next to the river offer a relaxing time. The return journey is via an accessible climb that leads to the Adventure Park. After passing the leisure centre, then the Fahy esplanade, take the stairs that go back into the forest and descend on your right to the starting point. Two educational trails - the Eagle-Wolf Trail and the Biodiversity Trail - are part of this route, which is particularly popular with families.
