Fanny Smith
Ski cross champion

I’ve lived in Villars all my life, and I’m a real mountain girl. I love being outdoors and exploring the beautiful nature around me. I’ve always enjoyed all kinds of sports, but when I tried ski cross at age 12, I knew it was for me – it combines my love of speed with the thrill of jumps and head-to-head racing. After turning professional at the age of 16, I’ve had a great career so far. At age 17, I went to the first Ski Cross Olympics at Vancouver 2010, and I won Olympic bronze in Pyeongchang in 2018. I'm world champion and have twice won the crystal globe as the overall season champion. I have stood on more World Cup podiums than any other active ski cross athlete. I love what I do and I’m able to use my passion and drive to give my best in every race.
