Natural place "La Videman"

Accessible via the Rougemont cable car, the Videman offers an incredible view of the Gummfluh and the Pierreuse nature reserve! A perfect natural place to recharge your batteries or enjoy the fresh air on a hot summer's day.
During the summer months, take the Videmanette cable car to this little paradise: La Videman! From the top of the station, walk about 15 minutes on a mountain path to get there. When the lift is closed, you can hike from the lift car park or from the entrance to the nature reserve at GĂ©rignoz. Here you are in the wide green areas of the Videman. From your position, discover the Gummfluh, the emblematic mountain of the Pays-d'Enhaut, from a completely different angle. The proximity to the mountain allows you to discover all its specificities. At the base of the rocky massif, you can see the heart of the Pierreuse nature reserve. This is where many animals such as marmots and chamois enjoy the pastures and stonework. Take a pair of binoculars with you to have fun spotting them between two rocks or during their food break! Strange coloured birds are about to take off? You are very close to the paraglider take-off area! Sit down in the tall grass and enjoy the show.

RECOMMANDATIONS : - accessible en été et en automne grâce à une randonnée. - la remontée mécanique est ouverte durant le mois de juillet et août. ACCES & PARKING : - en voiture : possibilité de laisser gratuitement sa voiture au parking de la Videmanette. - en train : via ligne du MOB de Montreux jusqu'à Zweisimmen (arrêt "gare de Rougemont). Comptez 5 minutes jusqu'au départ de la remontée mécanique.
