Lac Noir – Chaux Ronde chair lift
Description
The Lac Noir - Chaux Ronde chairlift links Bretaye to Chaux-Ronde.
The Lac Noir-Chaux Ronde chairlift is located between Lac Noir, a small lake below the Col de Bretaye, and Chaux Ronde at 1987m. In winter, it is an important crossroads of the Villars ski area, located next to the Col de Bretaye. It allows skiers to get to the Diablerets ski area and to access the link with the Gryon sector. The renovation of this facility in 2022 doubled its transport capacity. In summer, it can be used by hikers thanks to the various possible trails.
Practical Information
IN SUMMER : - The chairlift can be used in both directions for pedestrians (up and down). - Tickets and day passes can be purchased online and at the Roc d'Orsay, Barboleuse, Les Diablerets or Villars station. - All bicycles (including electric bikes) are allowed on the different open lifts. CARTE BIENVENUE AND CARTE FIDELITE - 50% discount on the normal chairlift fare during opening periods.
