Eisstock in Villars
Description
Discover this ice sport, one of the oldest in our country, at the Villars ice rink.
Eisstock or pétanque on ice is a mix of curling and pétanque. Using discs (Eisstöcke) with a thirty-centimetre handle, the aim is to throw them as close as possible to a rubber puck that serves as a goal. It's a sport that's accessible to everyone and a great way to have a good time on the ice! The Villars Sports Centre offers 20-minute sessions with explanations and practice on two lines and one half of the rink.
