The Badan family has settled in Aigle, where it owns a wine estate mid-way between the old town and the medieval quarter. The cellar and the vinothek are housed in the large building, whereas the 15 hectares of vineyards can be found in the fields around the district.
The Chablais region in the canton of Vaud is dedicated to market gardening and wine growing. Taking advantage of ideal climatic and geological conditions, the local winegrowers exploit perfectly what nature offers them. Anick and Didier Badan work their plots between Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon and Bex. Half of their white wine production is Chasselas, but the couple reserves a part of the estate for specialities such as Viognier, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. The rest of the estate is dedicated to red wine lovers, since pinot-noir, gamay, gamaret, merlot, diolinoir and egiodola complete the range offered by Badan Vins. In the cellar, oak and chestnut barrels stand alongside stainless steel vats. A magnificent stone cellar welcomes up to 46 guests for moments of sharing. Themed menus, fondues and local specialities are the perfect complement to your visit to the facilities. The wine cellar will satisfy you if you wish to combine good wine and local products. The discovery boxes cover all budgets. Certified "Vaud Ĺ’notourisme", the establishment welcomes patriots every 1st August for a brunch on the farm.
- Parking in front of the winery (also for coaches) - Visit and tasting of 5 wines, from CHF 10 - Aperitifs and local dishes on request
