Combining the pleasures of walking and eating is the primary aim of this summer Rando Gourmande. With a route suited to children and adults, as well as a menu prepared for the occasion, it's going to be a mouth-watering experience! Discover the menu for this edition: Station 1 - Place du Marché: Breakfast by La Gourmandine & tea/coffee Station 2 - Col de la Croix refreshment bar - Chez Francine: Nettle soup with serac toast / l’Abbaye de Salaz wine Station 3 - Carrière d'Ensex: Obwalden speciality on a bed of salad / Domaine Christinat wine Item 4 - Restaurant Bretaye 1808: Panaché de poisson du lac / Domaine Chapelle la Roche wine Station 5 - Maison de Montagne de Bretaye: Assortment of cheeses / Domaine Borter wine Post 6 - Restaurant du Golf de Villars: Blueberry tart / Domaine La Combaz wine Station 7 - Place du Marché: Artisanal beer from Brasserie de la Mine (Bex) / Non-alcoholic drink from P'tit Chalet Each station will offer a different Swiss mineral drink for the non-alcoholic option.
Practical Information
REGISTRATION - The registration is mandatory at Villars Tourist Office or online until 19 September. For all information requests, please contact the Villars Tourist Office on +41 (0)24 495 32 32 or by e-mail: events@villars.ch. - PLEASE NOTE: For children under 6 years old, the gourmet walk is free. Children must share their meal with their parents or carer. However, please let us know at the following e-mail address: events@villars.ch. DEPARTURES - 5 departures to choose from: 9am, 9.30am, 10am, 10.30am or 11am Materials to be planned: - Hiking boots - Cap/Hat - Sunglasses - Sunscreen - Water bottle OUR FRIENDS THE DOGS - Dogs are allowed but owners will not be given priority on the shuttle buses to the Col de la Croix if the dog cannot stay on its owner's lap. Dogs must remain on a lead throughout the event.
