Overview
The typical Swiss chalet atmosphere and the friendly staff of the Vieux Villars are a great attraction for both regulars and tourists visiting the resort of Villars. With its various fondues and raclettes, its typical Swiss röstis, its meats and its seasonal dishes such as hunting in autumn, the gourmet choice is mouth-watering.
In the heart of the resort of Villars-sur-Ollon, the Vieux Villars restaurant opens its doors in an authentic and friendly atmosphere. The entire restaurant team is very inventive with traditional cuisine and will satisfy your desires: brasserie dishes, fondues, raclettes and other cheese-based dishes, homemade desserts or even hunting suggestions are proposed according to the season. The wines of the region are the perfect accompaniment to the dishes.
At Vieux Villars, three atmospheres on three floors are available to mountain lovers: the carnotzet and its crackling wood fire; the restaurant and its brighter room, a nod to the Alpine chalets; and finally the lounge bar "La part des anges", the ideal place for a friendly aperitif.
The establishment is privatized on request, for all types of events or animations, in the form of a seated meal, buffet or cocktail party.
