Monts Chevreuils

The summit of the Monts Chevreuils is accessible in summer and winter for your enjoyment! Access is possible from La Lécherette or from the small village of Les Moulins. Put on your hiking boots or snowshoes and set off to conquer this little summit!

The various hiking routes allow you to discover trails in the forest or in large flower-filled pastures. During the summer months, you may be greeted by a few cows on your way up. In winter, they come down from the mountains to make way for small wild animals such as hares. Keep your eyes peeled, you might spot some!

Once at the summit, take a moment to enjoy the nature stretching as far as the eye can see! The landscape allows you to discover the towers of Leysin, the Pic Chaussy and also the Vanils mountain range overlooking the village of Château-d'Œx. Below, a large expanse of water attracts you... This is Lake Hongrin with its famous dam. In summer, it's the perfect place to cool your feet!

If you're patient, the sun will treat you to a magnificent orange-coloured sunset! The ideal moment to enjoy delicious fresh local produce while taking in the spectacle of nature.
