Discover the Solacyre refuge in Leysin, a place steeped in history and passion. Built in 1960 at the top of the Solacyre chairlift in the former Leysin ski area, the restaurant closed when the chairlift ceased operating. But thanks to a team of passionate volunteers, the mountain refuge has been reopened to offer visitors a haven of unspoilt nature.
You can reach the chalet on foot in summer or on snowshoes and touring skis in winter from the Chamois quarry. Once you arrive, you will be amazed by the panoramic view of the mountains. Enjoy the sunny terrace or the warm, wood-panelled dining room as you savour a delicious traditional Swiss fondue.
The Solacyre refuge is the ideal place to combine hiking, mountain cuisine and exceptional views in Leysin. A unique experience not to be missed for all nature and mountain lovers.
