Restrictions are currently in force in the Canton of Vaud to reduce the risk of wildfires. Before your visit to the Alpes Vaudoises, please take a moment to review the applicable safety measures.
The Canton of Vaud has prohibited open fires and the use of fireworks and other pyrotechnic devices until further notice.
Charcoal and wood-fired barbecues are prohibited in public areas, except at permanent barbecue facilities specifically authorised by the municipalities. Gas and electric barbecues, as well as charcoal or wood-fired barbecues on private terraces, balconies and in private gardens, remain permitted, provided that safety precautions are strictly followed and they are kept well away from dry vegetation.
