Every year, as the snow melts away, it sometimes reveals a reality that is less visible in winter: litter left behind in the countryside. It is against this backdrop that the Clean-Up Tour takes place, an initiative coordinated by the Summit Foundation, which travels through mountain regions across Switzerland to organise community clean-up days.

In the Alpes Vaudoises, several stops give both residents and visitors the opportunity to get involved. From Villars-sur-Ollon to Leysin, via Gryon, Les Diablerets and Col des Mosses, these days invite participants to take a fresh look at alpine landscapes.
The concept is simple: dedicate a few hours to collecting waste in the mountains, within a structured and accessible framework. The objective is twofold. On the one hand, it aims to preserve fragile alpine ecosystems; on the other, it raises awareness about the impact of waste in environments often perceived as pristine.

Beyond the environmental action, these days are also designed to be welcoming and convivial. They offer the opportunity to spend time outdoors, meet other participants and contribute, on an individual level, to the preservation of the region. Taking part in the Clean-Up Tour is also a way to experience the mountains differently. Not only as a place for leisure, but as an environment that deserves active protection.
