Swiss skier Fanny Smith claimed the silver medal today in the women’s ski cross event at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Delivering another outstanding performance, the Vaud native crossed the finish line just behind Germany’s Daniela Maier, following a thrilling and hard-fought final.
This result marks Fanny Smith’s third Olympic medal, following her two bronze medals at PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022. It once again highlights her longevity and consistency at the very highest level of ski cross competition.
