When December covers Villars with its winter coat, the resort lights up and the air fills with a gentle sense of excitement. In the sparkling streets, the scent of mulled wine mingles with the laughter of families gathered around a fondue or a hot chocolate, while the magic of Christmas unfolds at every chalet corner, carried by the serenity of the snow-covered mountains.
On the Market Square, the Christmas Market comes alive with wooden chalets adorned with fairy lights and garlands. Families stroll from stall to stall, a drink in hand, discovering handcrafted creations, local delicacies, and unique gift ideas.
Each stand is an invitation to meet, share and enjoy, extending the welcoming mountain spirit that makes Villars so special.

Mountain restaurants, decorated for the occasion, invite you to a gourmet break in a postcard-perfect setting. Family, snow, skis, and cosy restaurants — all the ingredients are there for a fairy-tale Christmas.
