Aigle, the crossroads of flavours - City of Taste 2025

In 2025, Aigle has the honour of being designated Swiss City of Taste, a distinction that celebrates all the culinary and wine-growing riches of our region. The project, entitled ‘Aigle, Crossroads of Flavour’, aims to raise the profile of local products, promote healthy, sustainable food and strengthen links between producers, artisans and consumers.

Thanks to its strategic geographical position, cultural diversity and exceptional gastronomic heritage, Aigle is positioning itself as a must-see destination for epicureans. The project covers the whole district, with renowned partners such as L'Étivaz, Leysin and the Mines de Sel de Bex.

Swiss Taste Week, from 18 to 28 September 2025, will be the highlight of the year, with workshops, food walks, markets and tastings. But above all, ‘Carrefour des saveurs’ is a long-term vision: to make Aigle a place where tastes, know-how and culinary encounters flourish over the long term.
