Overview
Combine hiking and gastronomy on a gourmet walk in Leysin, in the heart of the Alpes Vaudoises. With around 2 hours 45 minutes of walking spread throughout the day, each culinary stop offers a break in three authentic and welcoming mountain huts.
The adventure begins with a cable car ride to La Berneuse at an altitude of 2,048 metres, where exceptional views of the Alpine peaks await. From there, you head to the picturesque hamlet of Aï for a first gourmet stop and an aperitif. A short walk later, the Mayen mountain refuge welcomes you for the main course in an authentic alpine setting.
The hike then continues through the remarkable landscapes above Leysin, passing impressive limestone pavements (lapiaz) sculpted by nature over time. A final stop at Restaurant des Fers gives you the opportunity to enjoy dessert before beginning a pleasant descent back towards the village.
Combining Alpine panoramas, mountain trails and culinary discoveries, this experience offers a unique and convivial way to explore the natural and gastronomic treasures of the Alpes Vaudoises.

Services included
- Gondola lift from Leysin to La Berneuse or chairlift from Leysin to Tête d'Aï) (one way)
- Aperitif at the refreshment bar in the hameau d'Aï : tomme vaudoise and slices of dried meat. 1 glass of wine or local apple juice.
- Meal at the Mayen refuge : alpine fondue or veal stew (drinks not included).
- Dessert at the Fers restaurant:
- Adult: ovomaltine mousse, lemon tartelette or dessert of the day. A coffee or 3dl mineral water.
- Child: ovomaltine mousse, scoop of ice cream or dessert of the day. One 2dl mineral.
