Photo exhibition by Gaël Handschin along the Col de la Croix

The exhibition begins at the start of the Col de la Croix road. On your left, admire the first photograph, located at the entrance to the Sentier des Renardeaux trail.

Continue along the winter trail that runs alongside the Col de la Croix road, which is closed to traffic during the winter months.

As you make your way up towards La Verneyre, let yourself be amazed by 15 magnificent photographs of the sky by Gaël Handschin.

Along the way, each photograph is accompanied by an information panel inviting you to discover the sky from three different perspectives:

Originally from Lausanne, Gaël Handschin is a self-taught photographer who developed his skills at a time when information about storm photography was still scarce.

Through this exhibition, he invites us to pause for a moment, look up and rediscover the stories the sky still has to tell.

Once you reach La Verneyre, you can either continue on to the Golf course and then return to Villars on the Villars–Bretaye train, or retrace your steps.
