Wilbure is the guardian of a cardboard metropolis, a fragile world whose houses and buildings she protects with constant vigilance. But as winter approaches, the turning point arrives: an earthquake reduces the city to ruins, shattering the order she had strived to maintain.
Faced with this destruction, a quest becomes imperative. Wilbure thus sets out on a journey in search of a Repairing Giant, said to be the only one capable of bringing any city back to life. Along the way, she will encounter beings who are by turns unsettling, caustic, zany or even mythical. Each of these encounters will shake her convictions and gradually transform the meaning of her mission.
Through this unique journey, a contemporary fable emerges, both mischievous and profound, which questions forgiveness, explores human complexity and highlights the paradoxes that shape every existence.
