Villars Music Retrats

On 5 and 6 December 2026, Villars Palace will host the first edition of the Villars Music Retreats, an immersive experience where music becomes a true space for encounter, reflection and inspiration.

Under the theme ‘How to: Go Beyond Your Limits’, this inaugural edition invites the public to broaden their horizons and discover the connections between music, mind, body and human performance.

This edition will bring together exceptional figures, including Shlomo Mintz, an internationally renowned violinist and conductor; Walter Küssner, violist with the Berliner Philharmoniker; Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, cellist and international soloist; and Ava Bahari, violinist and ambassador for Villars Music.

Joining them will be pianist Noriko Sugiyama, Jasper Parrott, co-founder of HarrisonParrott, and experts in human potential and health, who will share their experiences and insights. The sessions will be hosted by Manuela Salvi, a cultural journalist and presenter.

The programme includes exclusive encounters with internationally renowned musicians, masterclasses open to the public, chamber music concerts featuring the young talents of the Rising Stars of Villars Music Soloists Lab, and a grand concert on Saturday evening.

Combining musical excellence, inspiring exchanges and artistic discoveries, the Villars Music Retreats offer a unique experience, at the crossroads of culture and personal development, in the exceptional setting of Villars.
