Avalanche barriers at Leysin are celebrating their 100th anniversary

Set off to discover the history of the stone walls built 100 years ago to protect Leysin from avalanches, on a magnificent walk through the hills above the resort.

Along the route, seven information points scattered across the Riondaz-Géteillon area, between Temeley and La Berneuse, invite you to discover the various aspects of these structures: their history, their role, their construction and the challenges involved in maintaining them.
