Come and enjoy an evening of virtuosity and poetry at the Villars Palace with violinist Ava Bahari, a rising star on the music scene, accompanied by pianist Andrei Banciu, who will give a brilliant performance of Beethoven’s ‘Kreutzer’, Ravel’s ‘Tzigane’ and Chausson’s ‘Poème’.
Described by The Strad as “a remarkable emerging talent”, Ava Bahari is a highly accomplished Swedish violinist who demonstrates a refreshing appetite for unique repertoires. Currently artist-in-residence with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and selected as an ECHO Rising Star for 2026/27, she has received numerous awards, including first prizes at the Premio Paganini Competition in Genoa (2021), the Tibor Varga International Competition in Sion (2021) and the Aurora Music Competition in Stockholm (2019).
A Romanian pianist based in Germany, Andrei Banciu is a highly sought-after chamber musician, renowned for his sense of musical dialogue and his collaborations with leading European soloists and orchestras.
