1st August in Ollon

It’s one of the highlights of the summer, when residents, friends, and visitors come together to share a moment of pride and tradition in the heart of our beautiful region.

Here is the program

10:00 AM – Lantern-making workshop for children aged 2½ and up, at the Parish Hall (behind the pharmacy)
6:00 PM – Start of the festivities in the parking lot below the police station, with food stands and live music
8:45 PM – Bell ringing on the festival grounds
9:00 PM – Torchlight procession featuring the youth group Jeunesse d’Ollon – L’Avenir, the Fanfare Ollon – Les Plans, and children carrying the lanterns made earlier in the day, followed by an aperitif offered by the Municipality
9:15 PM – Official ceremony with a speech by Mrs. Josiane Panchaud, President of the Municipal Council 2025/2026
9:45 PM – Musical entertainment
1:00 AM – End of the festivities
