1st August in Ollon

It’s one of the highlights of the summer, when residents, friends, and visitors come together to share a moment of pride and tradition in the heart of our beautiful region.

Here is the program

• 10.00 am: Lantern-making workshop for children aged 2½ and over at the Parish Hall (behind the chemist’s)
• 6.00 pm: Start of the festivities in the car park below the police station, light refreshments and musical entertainment
• 8.45 pm: Ringing of the bells in the festival square
• 9.00 pm: Procession featuring the Ollon Youth Group – L’Avenir and children carrying the lanterns they made that morning, followed by an aperitif hosted by the local council
• 9.15 pm: Official ceremony with a speech by Mr Roberto Valterio, Chair of the Municipal Council 2026/2027
• 9.45 pm: Musical entertainment
• 1.00 am: End of the festivities
