Designed for intermediate climbers, this two-day course in the wild and spectacular Diablerets massif offers complete immersion between rock and ice. The aim is to perfect your technical skills in alpine climbing and glacier progression, while enjoying a formative high-mountain adventure. The first day begins with a challenging ascent to the Diablerets hut along the picturesque Drudy path, punctuated by practical workshops on rock climbing, belaying, belay construction and rope handling. The second day is devoted to climbing the summit of Les Diablerets, at an altitude of 3,210 metres, with roped progression on the glacier requiring the use of crampons and ice axes, and the practical application of safety techniques in glacier terrain. The descent is via the Glacier 3000 facilities, bringing the adventure to a close with a breathtaking panorama. This course combines learning, challenging yourself and the pleasure of mountaineering, in a magnificent setting.
