This dinner show offers a quirky and entertaining dive into the world of William Shakespeare. From Star Academy to AC/DC, via The Lion King, two speakers invite you to rediscover the English playwright in general, and his most famous work, Hamlet, in particular, through an unexpected and resolutely playful approach.
Far from a traditional academic lecture, the analysis is deliberately light-hearted, joyfully irreverent and punctuated with references from popular culture. The major themes of Shakespeare's work — doubt, tragedy, revenge and destiny — are dissected with humour and self-mockery, blurring the boundaries between scholarly knowledge and entertainment.
Over a meal, the audience is invited to savour both the content and the moment. It may not be about learning much more about Shakespeare from an academic point of view, but one thing is certain: fun, laughter and conviviality are guaranteed. This dinner show offers an accessible and enjoyable reinterpretation of Hamlet, for a moment that is as indulgent as it is intelligent, where literature becomes a shared playground.
