Winter walk in Les Fers

Description
A pleasant climb through forests and pastures leads you to Les Fers with beautiful views of the surrounding peaks. Descent by the same route. Warning: some sections are to be shared with skiers.
Below the Hotel Fabiola, take the path up through the forest for about 15 minutes and join the ski slope (to be shared with skiers). At the intersection of Les Plans, continue on the lower path and after a quarter of an hour of gradual ascent, three magnificent chalets buried in the snow line the path. At the intersection just after, follow the path up to the left. It will take you, after a last physical effort, to the restaurant des Fers. It takes about 1h30 for the climb. You will have earned a break in the restaurant where you can admire the view of the Alps while enjoying a speciality. For the return journey, you can retrace your steps.
