Description

This groomed route takes you to La Manche valley where peace and nature reign! The walk, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, climbs gently between the alpine chalets.

The departure is a few metres above the car park at 1'250m. Along the way, follow the snow-covered summer road to the end of the valley. The Rübli, the emblematic mountain of Rougemont, becomes increasingly visible as you climb. In summer, the cows bring the pastures to life with the sound of their bells. In winter, nature and the wild animals take over for your pleasure! At the end of the walk, enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. Above you, the Rocher des Rayes and the Dent de Combette shelter numerous animals between their rocky walls. Take your binoculars and try to find the chamois or ibexes that are tasting a few tufts of grass! The return walk follows the same route as the outward journey.
