Description
From the mountains to the vineyards of Bex, the varied flora, landscapes and views enrich the walk.
From the Place du Marché in Villars, take the small road down towards the ice rink. When you reach the ice rink, turn left and follow the signs for Chesières. Just after crossing the bridge over the river, take the path on the left. Once out of the forest, watch out for the small path that goes off to the left between two houses. This one goes down to the place called "Coleux" and arrives downstream of the cemetery of Chesières. If you do not find this path, cross the main road and 5m further on, take the road and then the path that goes off to the left and reaches the same point. Once you arrive at Les Combes d'en Haut, go back towards the river. Once you reach the bridge, cross it and follow the path on the right (be careful, sometimes in bad condition). Once you reach the bridge below, turn right and join the path that goes to the left 100m further on. You will arrive in the village of Pallueyres. Cross the hamlet and return to the stream. After a short climb of 50 m. a path goes to the left and joins another path that winds down to the salt mines of Bex. Just behind the Bouillet restaurant, a path takes you back to Bévieux through the forest and vineyards.

Possibility of returning to Villars by train from BĂ©vieux (Bex-Villars line) A few instructions: - Stay on the marked trails - Hike with knowledge of your route and the weather - Take care of the flora and fauna - Do not leave any rubbish behind you - Respect private property - Close gates and fences behind you - Keep your dog on a lead
