Route Information
Description
For a short walk in the sunshine, you can walk through the lower part of the village from the Leysin ice rink. This walk is suitable for families and passes by the Leysin goat farm. Be careful to stay on the snowshoe trail.
Put on your snowshoes at the start of the road by the Leysin ice rink. Follow the road that passes between the pretty chalets of this hamlet. After about 30 minutes of gentle ascent, the path goes back down to the starting point, through fields. This pleasant loop gives a glimpse of the quietness of the village of Leysin. Please note that the trail crosses the cross-country ski track several times, so please stay on the snowshoe trail.
