Description
Hike of medium difficulty at the start of the Chamois quarry. Regular climb by road, then on a forest path to the spectacular summit of La Riondaz. Descent along the flower crests towards Prafandaz.
From the Chamois quarry (Top of Leysin), take the road towards Temeley. After 35 minutes of climbing, take the pretty forest path leading to Solacyre. This unspoiled place will appeal to nature lovers and offers a beautiful view, in particular of the Dents du Midi. Take the opportunity to take a break at the refreshment bar and enjoy this haven of peace. From Solacyre, it will take you about 30 minutes on a winding path to reach the splendid summit of La Riondaz, giving a 360 ° view of Lake Geneva and the surrounding peaks. Then take the same path to Solacyre, then continue your walk by a very nice path which descends on Prafandaz. The Prafandaz restaurant will welcome you for a well-deserved stopover, before going back down to your starting point by road.
