The Pra-Cornet plateau, well known for its snowshoe and cross-country trails in winter also has a lot to offer in the summer.
From the start, located at the corner of the Tourist Office building in the centre of Les Mosses, take the path that climbs through the fields. At the first crossroads (road), turn left and follow the road until the bovi-stop. Go straight on (towards Pra-Cornet) and after the bridge, turn right. Follow the road without leaving it until you reach the Plateau de Pra-Cornet. Before reaching the crossroads (1646m.), take the opportunity to stop and admire the panorama. A breathtaking view of the Chaussy chain, the Col des Mosses, the Lioson d'Enbas plateau and even the Gummfluh. The tepee camp at Pra-Cornet offers unusual overnight stays. The Charmilles refreshment bar, located just a few steps from the road (opposite the tipis), offers refreshments. To resume the hike, go left, in the direction of La Lécherette. After passing a chalet, the road goes up a little. Pass the cattle stop, then leave the road and turn left across the pastures. The path descends all the way to the village of La Lécherette. It cuts through the pastures and crosses the forest. When you reach a small tarmac road, follow it to the cantonal road. Cross it and continue on the road opposite, slightly to your right. At the first fork in the road, do not go towards the military barracks. Follow the road to the left and immediately turn left after the bridge in the meadow. Follow the "Anteinettes" path through a pasture to a wide path on the edge of the forest. Follow it. As you leave the forest, the path climbs to the right and joins the gravel road to Arsat. Follow it to the ski lift which you cross. This new path through wet pastures is to be followed for a quarter of an hour. Back on a tarmac road, follow it to the cantonal road. At this point, turn right and walk another 10 minutes back to the centre of Les Mosses.
