Description

This hike is suitable for experienced hikers because of the difference in altitude and the delicate passages near the Pointe des Savolaires. This itinerary starts and ends at Pont-de-Nant. You will walk through wild landscapes between forests, rocks and ridges.

From Pont-de-Nant, the path climbs through the forest to the crossroads of Cinglo. From there and through the forest, you reach the Homme de Cinglo by a beautiful climb sequenced by the paravalanches of today and of the past. Don't miss the view of the Muveran. A break is necessary before continuing on the demanding path through lunar boulders to reach the foot of the Pointe des Savolaires. You can then reach the Col des Pauvres. All that remains is the descent to the Euzanne mountain pasture and the return to Pont-de-Nant via Cinglo.
