Description
Try your hand at off-road scooter, a fun and sporting activity on this beginner-level path linking Les Chaux and Barboleuse via Taveyanne.
From La Barboleuse, take the Gryon cable car up to Les Chaux. From there, on an off-road scooter, take MTB track 581, which starts above the Chez Gipsy restaurant and heads towards Taveyanne. As you leave the village of Taveyanne, follow MTB track 581 back under the village, which takes you along a footpath and then a track through pastures and woodland. Before reaching Barboleuse, in the final section, you'll have a choice between off-road for the more experienced and road for those who feel less confident.
Practical Information
TRANSPORT -You can insert your scooter into one of the Chaux gondolas. TRANSPORT DISCOUNTS - Half-fare and general season tickets from the SBB entitle you to a 50% discount on the price of this journey. RENTAL Rental is only possible when the gondolas are open from June to October and by half-day (morning or afternoon) depending on the opening hours of each shop. Booking is compulsory for groups.
