Lioson d'en Bas on snowshoes

Description
Pleasant loop with a small climb and crossing of the Lioson d'en Bas plateau before going back down to the village. Nice ride in the afternoon sun.
Starting from the Espace Nordique des Alpes Vaudoises house, go up the path, cross the road and continue through the chalets until you cross the road again. Then the path continues straight ahead following the edge of the forest. Then you slowly leave the edge and walk around the Lioson plateau to a large mountain pasture. The path then climbs up to the reservoir (small chalet), before descending to the left and continuing across the Lioson d'en Bas plateau. Once you arrive at the top of the village, you go straight down along the old ski lift. The descent is steep but very pleasant with powdery snow.
