Description

This eight-kilometre-long cross-country ski slope is particularly popular among skiers, above all thanks to its rhythm and altitude changes, without ever getting difficult. The idyllic scenery you encounter on the way - whether you' re skiing or cross-country skiing - is just as captivating.

This trail begins at the Maison de l’Espace Nordique or at Arsat. You start with a gentle descent and leads to the Fond de l'Hongrin. Then, it's time for the descent to Arsat where it is possible to join the Les Mosses-La Lécherette slope or the Arsat restaurant on the other side of the road. Otherwise, walk around the mound to get back to the junction. At this crossroads you can take the track to Pra Cornet or Le Carro. To follow the Preisettes trail, continue straight on and make the small loop at the back of the valley before returning to the junction. Continue to the left along the path down to the village. The trail makes two more loops uphill before reaching the Maison de l'Espace Nordique.

Practical Information

Depending on the discipline (classic or skating), the time needed to complete the course may vary. The condition of the snow and of course the physical condition also play a role. The average speed was calculated at 7.5 km/hour.
