Description

Perfect on hot summer days, enjoy the adventure of this walk in the heart of the Pissot gorges! The walk follows the Torneresse river from l'Etivaz, the village of the famous AOP alpine cheese.

There are two ways to get to your starting point. Drive up in your own car or use the post bus line from Château-d'Œx or the Col de Mosses. The first part of the route gently follows the Torneresse river through forest and pastures until you arrive in the middle of the Pissot gorge. Once you have climbed up to the launching place of the pendular jump, continue your ascent in order to leave the gorges and arrive at the top of the place called "La Rosette". From this viewpoint, enjoy the panoramic view of the village of Château-d'Œx overlooked by the imposing mountain range! The last part of the walk passes through the Ramaclé.
