Les Bouquetins - La Truche - Villars
Route Information
Description
A hike at altitude with a spectacular view.
To reach the start of this hike, take the cogwheel train between Villars and Bretaye and get off at the stop called "Les Bouquetins". You follow the path in the direction of the Truche. The view is clear and you can admire the Vaud Alps and, in the distance and on a clear day, Lake Geneva. From the Truche, follow the sloping path through the pastures towards Villars. You will arrive at Chesières. From there, follow the path back to Villars.

SOME ADVICE : - Plan your hike (route, duration, weather) - Equip yourself appropriately; sturdy shoes (preferably high heels), appropriate clothing and protection against the weather - Take sufficient food and drink - Take a first aid kit - Be aware of weather changes - Do not walk on grass and crops - Close all pasture gates - Extinguish fires, refrain from making fires in case of drought - Take your rubbish with you
