Description
From Arsat, easy trail also suitable for novices. Ideal to take young children. You can join the trail from the walking path in Les Mosses or La Lécherette.
This trek starts from behind the Arsat Restaurant. Go straight ahead and over the little bridge on the cross-country ski piste. Then leave this piste almost straight away to get onto the snowshoe trail to your right, going over the cross-country ski piste and continuing to climb until you reach the alpine pastures. Then continue along the snowshoe trail to the right. Get onto the track that gently descends towards La Lécherette. Complete the little loop in the valley and go downhill until you reach a typical old chalet before continuing on in the direction of Arsat. The hike ends with a short but practicable climb (around 50 metres). Option : this trail can be done at night. Trail markers are reflective so you will just need a headlamp.
